Mr. Kyron Cooper

OBMG Board Member

Kyron Cooper was born in The Bahamas and lived on the island of Grand Bahama in Freeport. 

He has been an active member of the Organization of Black Maritime Graduates (O.B.M.G) since 2015.

Having graduated from Maritime College with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering with a Third Mates license, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was employed as a Naval Architect and Structural Engineer with Philly Shipyard, Inc. (formerly Aker Philadelphia Shipyard).

Kyron is currently employed with the largest interior construction company in New York City, StructureTone, as a Structural Steel Superintendent. He works in the yacht design industry in his spare time.
